Matt and Trey push the barrier

South Park is taking a lot of heavy fire following the “Mo in a Bear suit” incident. Many threats have been aired, but as yet nothing conclusive has come to the fore.

One thread of recent “evidence” is that a car bomb was aimed at Viacom (the parent company of South Park). Fortunately no-one was hurt, and we’ll still be able to watch South Park for the time being. Let’s hope there’s a bit of luck on the religious front for our two cartoon gurus.

“Police have so far received over 120 tips, three of which are being considered as ‘promising’.”

This happened in Times Square, so there could be a number of different reasons behind the attack. Car hire USA may start finding itself on just as much of a lockdown as their air-travel: well, maybe that’s a push.

Comedy Central today released information about the next venture into Colorado courtesy of our friends Matt and Trey. The series seems to be focussing on celebrities more and more each season, and this will be no exception. Tiger Woods is to feature in the first of the new series, as the rest of us look on in anguish.

I’ve been a fan of South Park for as long as it has been on our screens, but the lads have faltered on a few occasions: the most recent episode being a total flop (in my mind). The pair have managed to open channels into ridiculing literally any subject matter they fancy; here’s hoping they’ve managed to pick it back up this season.
